Through trials of pain and joys of peace these songs explore who has the rights to our bodies and minds, but all the while attempting to discover the role we have in choosing what goes into it. My hope is that these songs will begin conversations with ourselves that point to community as the answer to our identity. We should not cover ourselves with a disguise in order to cope with our downfalls, but we ought to tactfully divulge these pains in order to be known and loved despite them.
